Packaging
At The Jewellery Tree, we care about the environment, adopting a ‘less is more’ policy to packaging. So when you purchase any of our pieces, you’ll receive beautiful and long lasting quality jewellery with minimal packaging - just enough to ensure it's safe arrival such as a card made of recycled paper and a reusable fabric bag. You may love the fleeting 'unboxing' experience but the environment doesn't.

Care Instructions
All Jewellery Tree pieces are made using high quality, ethically sourced sterling silver and/or genuine sterling silver/gold plate. Please treat your jewellery with the care it deserves and you’ll enjoy it for years to come. Avoid exposure to household chemicals, seawater, chlorine, fragrances, sweat and skincare products, as these may cause discolouration or damage your pieces with exposure.

The best way to maintain your jewellery is to wear it often. Humidity, strong sunlight and inappropriate storing of silver can lead to tarnishing / oxidation. Tarnish can generally be removed with a silver cloth as long as it’s treated when the first marks of oxidation appear. Store in the dark (not in the bathroom) and polish your sterling silver pieces regularly to maintain lustre.

​Do not use a silver cloth or any abrasive cleaning products on Gold plated jewellery as this will damage the plating.
Returns
If for whatever reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please contact us for an exchange or credit note at 1thejewellerytree@gmail.com within 7 days of receipt of items. Due to health regulations, earrings cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded for change of mind.
To return your order via post, simply contact us via email letting us know your intention and send the item(s) you wish to return within 7 days of delivery. Returned items must be received within 7 days after making contact with The Jewellery Tree. All items must be returned in original condition and packaging.
Postage costs on all returned items are the responsibility of the sender and The Jewellery Tree does not accept responsibility for items lost in transit. We highly recommend you use Registered Post (Australia Post) and provide us with a tracking number.

Warranty
Our Jewellery comes with a limited 30 day warranty (effective from date of purchase) against manufacturing defects. Should a product be deemed faulty, it will be repaired or replaced at no cost.

This does not cover accidental or deliberate damage, excessive or normal wear and tear. Items that are no longer covered by the 30 day warranty, or are damaged as the result of lack of care, mishandling or mistreatment, do not qualify for replacement and if they can be repaired, will incur a repair fee.

Repairs
Repairs will be assessed on a case by case basis and may incur a service fee. Please contact me prior to sending items for repair. Customers are responsible for return shipping and must include a self-addressed trackable post package when sending your repair.
